- 2D pattern and 3D model in sync
- Templates, rosters and every size graded

3dawg is a set of builders for custom apparel and print. Design garments on a live 3D model, lay out gang sheets on fabric, DTF film or UV DTF stickers with the price updating as you go, prep DTF prints and send it all to production as true 300 DPI files.
Each builder does one job well, and they work together: patterns fill shapes in the Design Studio, traced vectors drop into any layout, and prints go straight to your cart.
Pick a garment, place artwork on its sewing pattern pieces and watch it wrap onto the 3D model as you work.
Print on fabric by the yard, DTF transfers or UV DTF stickers. Pick a material, lay out your art and the price follows the exact length.
Knock out garment colors cleanly, add halftones and get separations ready for the press.
Put any artwork on printed twill and get a patch outline around it, finished with a satin stitch border.
Auto-digitize a logo or SVG into fill, satin and run stitches, fix them with digitizing tools, change density on the fly and export a DST file.
Design a tile that repeats without seams, then use it as a fill on shapes and text anywhere in 3dawg.
Lay out text and artwork once, mark images as placeholders, then drop the template onto any garment or print and fill it in.
Design a neck tag or label once with a size field, then print it for every size - the size fills in on each one.
Turn logos and artwork into clean vectors right in your browser, then edit paths, nodes and colors.
AI selects the subject, then you fix every edge with Photoshop-style selection tools, brushes and a Refine Edge brush for hair.
Pick a style and describe an idea, or restyle your own image - screen print, mascot, vintage and more - then edit it on the canvas.
Describe a font or show lettering you like. AI finds a near-exact match or generates a new font and saves it to your account.
Describe what you want and AI designs the whole garment, piece by piece, ready to finish in the Design Studio.
Whether you print transfers in your garage or are launching your first collection, 3dawg gives you production tools without the production software price.
Turn any logo or drawing into a clean SVG for your Cricut or Silhouette for free, make seamless patterns for sublimation and design custom patches and shirts.
Build DTF gang sheets that nest themselves, knock out shirt colors, add halftones for a soft hand and export true 300 DPI transparent PNGs.
Design cut-and-sew and all-over prints on real sewing patterns in 3D, with every size graded, plus branded neck tags, templates and your own font.
Jerseys with every player's name and number, roster gang sheets, AI graphics in screen print, mascot and vintage styles, and merch that's ready to order.
Real production software, not a mockup toy: everything you make comes out ready for the print shop.
Start from a garment, a blank gang sheet or your own artwork. No download, it runs in the browser.
Work on true pattern pieces and print widths, with every size graded and artwork kept at 300 DPI.
Prints are priced by the exact length of material they use, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Review your cart, tweak any design, and check out. Production gets print-ready files.
DTF gang sheets, vector tracing, clothing tags, patches and starting a clothing brand: the questions we hear most.
3dawg is a free-to-try, browser-based set of builders for custom apparel and print. You can design garments on a live 3D model, build DTF gang sheets priced by the yard, prep artwork for DTF and screen printing, trace images into vectors, and make patches, clothing tags, seamless patterns, fonts and AI graphics. Everything exports as true 300 DPI print-ready files. 3dawg is run by BigDawg (bigdawg.app).
You can open every builder without paying. Vector Studio (image tracing), the Halftoner, and the Pattern, Template, Tag and Patch Builders are free to use, and a free account lets you save designs, keep your uploads in My Artwork and download unwatermarked Halftoner exports. AI features (AI Studio, Font Builder and the AI Product Builder) are paid per use from your 3dawg wallet in US dollars, from $0.10 an image, and printed orders are priced by the yard.
Pick DTF transfers on the Print Materials page (3dawg.app/materials), open the builder and add artwork from your computer or My Artwork. Turn on Gang Up and set how many copies of each design you need: 3dawg nests every copy into the printable width for you and the sheet grows as you add art. The price updates with the exact length used. Add it to your cart to order, or save the layout and come back to it later.
Plan for 300 DPI at the size you print. A design printed 12 inches wide needs about 3,600 pixels across. 3dawg shows each image's DPI at its printed size, warns you below 300 DPI, and signed-in users can upscale low-resolution images for print for free. Exports are true 300 DPI PNGs with the DPI written into the file.
Use the Halftoner. Knock out the shirt color (or any color) smoothly so glows and fades keep their soft edges, remove photo backgrounds with one click, soften hard outer edges, add halftones to lighten big solid areas, crop with Fit to Artwork and export a transparent 300 DPI PNG ready for your DTF printer or for a gang sheet in the Print Builder.
Halftones break solid areas into dots, so the transfer uses less ink and feels lighter, softer and more breathable on the shirt, and fades blend into the garment color instead of ending in a hard edge. The Halftoner does single color, CMYK and simulated process halftones with round, square, line, diamond and other dot shapes, plus LPI, angle and dot size controls, and can export one screen per ink for screen printing.
Open Vector Studio, drop in your image and it is traced into vector paths right in your browser, in one color or many, with no account and nothing to pay. Clean up nodes, paths and colors, then download the SVG for cutting machines like Cricut and Silhouette, screen printing, vinyl or embroidery prep, or save it to My Artwork with a free account.
Yes. Design cut-and-sew and all-over print garments on the real sewing pattern pieces in the Design Studio and see them on a 3D model, with every size graded. Make branded neck tags and labels in the Tag Builder, build reusable design templates and seamless patterns for a collection, create a custom font for your brand, and order printed fabric or DTF transfers by the yard. All files come out print-ready at 300 DPI.
Design the tag once in the Tag Builder. Every tag has a size field, so when you print it the size fills in for each one (S, M, L, XL and so on). In the Print Builder you set how many copies of each size you need and the gang sheet nests them all for printing.
Open the Patch Builder and add your artwork. The patch outline is generated around it automatically: follow the shape of the art, or use a circle, oval, rectangle, rounded, shield or hexagon shape. Pick printed, embroidered, chenille, PVC or leather, a sewn satin border or a finished edge and a backing, see the price live, set the finished size and add it to your cart, or download the preview and the outline SVG.
Use the Pattern Builder. You design on one square tile sized in inches, and anything that crosses an edge comes back on the opposite side, so the repeat has no seams. Save the pattern and use it as a fill on shapes and text in any builder, recoloring it for each use.
Yes. In the Design Studio, player names and numbers stay editable text for every player and size. In the Print Builder, the Roster tool adds a whole roster of names and numbers, in several styles, as one layer that is nested onto a gang sheet for heat transfer printing.
Images in PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF, and vectors in SVG, PDF, AI, EPS and PS (converted to SVG for editing). Large files are handled for you. You can also upload your own TTF or OTF fonts to use in every builder.
No. 3dawg runs in your web browser on desktop, tablet and phone, with a touch-friendly layout on small screens. Nothing to install.
Yes, paid per use from your wallet in US dollars. AI Studio creates new graphics or restyles your own image with ready-made styles such as screen print, mascot and vintage. Font Builder finds or generates a font from a description or a photo of lettering. The AI Product Builder designs a whole garment from your brief, piece by piece, for you to finish in the Design Studio.
You keep whatever ownership rights you already have in your artwork. Only upload artwork you own or have permission to use. The Terms of Service at 3dawg.app/terms explain how BigDawg stores and uses uploads to run the service and fulfill orders.
Prints are priced by the exact length of material your layout uses, at that material's rate per yard, and the price is shown live as you design, before checkout. There is no minimum. Checkout goes through bigdawg.app.
Pick a material at 3dawg.app/materials: custom printed fabric by the yard (performance knits, dazzle, spandex and more), DTF transfer gang sheets and UV DTF stickers, with more materials added over time. Each material has its own print width and price per yard, and you can switch materials while you design.
