Custom printing by the yard

Choose your print material

Custom printed fabric, DTF transfers, UV DTF stickers and more. Pick a material, add your artwork in the online builder and pay only for the exact length you use - no minimums, no fixed sheet sizes.

Custom Printed Fabric

Print your artwork edge to edge on fabric by the yard. Upload a pattern, a team design or a whole set of cut-and-sew panels, lay it out across the full print width and pay only for the exact length you use - no minimum yardage.

DTF Transfers

Direct-to-film (DTF) transfers are printed on film with a white underbase and adhesive, ready to heat press onto almost any garment. Fill a gang sheet with as many designs as fit, let Gang Up nest the copies for you, and pay for the exact length of film used.

Frequently asked questions

How is custom printing priced?

Every material is priced by length: the exact length your layout uses times the material's rate per yard, shown live while you design. There is no minimum and no fixed sheet size, so you never pay for empty space.

Is there a minimum order for printed fabric?

No. Fabric is billed by the exact length your layout uses, so you can print a single panel, a full set of cut-and-sew pieces or many yards of an all-over pattern.

What is a DTF transfer?

DTF (direct-to-film) transfers are full-color designs printed on film with a white underbase and adhesive. You heat press them onto cotton, polyester, blends and more. Build a gang sheet of every design you need and pay for the exact length of film.

What are UV DTF stickers?

UV DTF stickers are rub-on transfers for hard surfaces like tumblers, glass, mugs and phone cases. Peel, press, burnish and lift the film away - no heat press and no background around your design.

How wide can my print be?

The print width is the material's roll width minus a 0.75" margin on each edge. The builder sets the layout to that width automatically and flags any artwork that goes past it.

What resolution should my artwork be?

Plan for 300 DPI at the printed size - about 3,000 pixels for a 10 inch wide design. The builder shows each image's DPI at its printed size and signed-in users can upscale low-resolution images for print for free.

Can I change the material after I start designing?

Yes. Click the material in the builder and pick another one. Your artwork keeps its size and place, the price updates, and anything past a narrower print width is highlighted so you can move it.
